Hello people from Steemit. I'm Cristhian Bravo, a 24 years old engineering student at the Simón Bolívar University (USB) in Venezuela. A good friend of mine introduced me to this platform.

Among my interests and hobbies are technology, reading, learning in general and my fluffy friend wiggles XD (our home doggy) who always stay with me until late night.

Due to my studies, I have a keen interest in different technical topics ranging from hardware to software, thus I got really excited when I heard about this new platform. Steemit posts are quite interesting and the ones I have read so far have shown me that the people involved in this project are building an awesome community. Signing up here was for me a very good decision.

Technology is for me really important. I enjoy learning about telecommunication topics, RF electronics, new hardware devices and gadgets. On top of this, I love to think of how these new technologies will affect people's daily lives. That is why I would like to write posts about these new advances in technology and hopefully change the way it is used nowadays.

Although I have been studying electronics so far and mostly programming micro-controllers in C, I have had a great enthusiasm for high level programming languages such as #python, #golang, and for open source software projects. My wish is to unify someday these two areas and become a IoT technologies developer.

On the other hand, I love reading. Among my literary interests are the classics like the Odyssey and the Iliad, Orwell's dystopias and children books like Harry Potter (many other adults read this saga too, do not discriminate!). I love good stories. One of my favorites books is Siddharta from Hermann Hesse (german author). It is one of those books that teaches you something different every time you read it, and besides it's very inspirational.

I would like to make a special mention of my girlfriend Marielena here, because she is a very important part of my life and has been by my side during the tough times giving me her full support. Thus, this post cannot be complete without mentioning her.

For a long time I was thinking of writing a blog to share ideas about the topics I like, but I never took the first step before. Now that I am about to finish my academic studies and that I found Steemit, I realized that this was a good time and this platform is the ideal place to start blogging. This community motivates me to continue my journey as a programmer and as a hardware developer, to write about interesting topics and to meet new people that share the same interests as mine.

Hola gente de Steemit mi nombre es Cristhian Bravo un estudiante de 24 años de la Universidad Simón Bolívar (USB) en Venezuela. Conocí la red de steemit gracias a un buen amigo de la universidad.

Soy una persona que tiene muchos intereses y hobbies, entre algunos de ellos se encuentra la lectura, la tecnología, aprender en general y mi peludo amigo wiggles XD (el perrito de la familia).

Debido a la carrera que estudie siempre he tenido una predisposición a temas de tecnología ya sea en las áreas de hardware como las de software, por eso me mostré muy interesado en en esta nueva plataforma. Muchos de los post de steemit son muy interesantes, y por los que he visto hasta los momentos puedo decir que se esta creando una muy buena comunidad, así que fue una muy buena decisión inscribirme.

La tecnología es una parte muy importante para mí por lo que disfruto al aprender sobre innovaciones en cuanto a telecomunicaciones, equipos electrónicos, electrónica RF, nuevos gadgets y además disfruto en pensar como podrían estas nuevas ideas afectar el día a día de las personas. Trataré de hacer post sobre estos nuevos temas que podrían cambiar la manera en que usamos la tecnología.

A pesar de haber estudiado electrónica y haber programado mayoritariamente para microcontroladores en C, siempre tuve un lado que se fascinaba por la programación de alto nivel por lo cual decidí aprender por mi cuenta. Soy un entusiasta de #python, #golang y los proyectos opensource. Mi meta es unificar algun día mi conocimiento sobre hardware y software y convertirme en un desarrollador de tecnologías para IoT.

Por otra parte disfruto mucho leer libros, he leído un poco de todo, desde clásicos como la Odisea y la Iliada, pasando por las distopías de Orwell hasta libros para jovenes como Harry Potter (muchos adultos también leen esta saga, no discriminen! XD). Me encantan las buenas historias. Entre unos de mis libros favoritos se encuentra el de Siddharta de Hermann Hesse un autor alemán. Es uno de esos libros que cada vez que lo lees aprendes algo distinto y además es muy inspirador.

Debo hacer una mención especial a mi novia (futura esposa) Marielena , dado que es una parte muy importante en mi vida y que ha estado conmigo en los momentos difíciles y me ha dado su apoyo incondicional, por lo que este post no estaría completo sin mencionarla.

Había estado mucho tiempo pensando en hacer un blog para escribir sobre mis ideas y los tópicos que me gustan, pero no había dado el paso. Ahora que me encuentro finalizando la universidad y que aprendí de steemit, creo que es una buena oprtunidad para comenzar dado que es una plataforma ideal para ello. Esta comunidad y lo que se esta creando aqui me entusiasma mucho, me motiva a seguir mi jornada como programador y desarrollador de hardware, escribir sobre temas interesantes y conocer gente nueva que comparta intereses comunes.
