@csgocenter will be the place for csgo players to learn tricks and various strategies. If you've ever wondered how the game is played on the highest level, follow this account to find out.
How to find team to play with? How to be better teamplayer? We'll start from the basics and work our way through all aspects of entering competitive scene with adequate knowledge.
My cs career
I'm 17 years old and I have been playing cs go regulary from 2013. Before that I've grown with various different FPS'es like Call of Duty and Action Quake 2. My cs go career start from silver 3 rank, from the bottom leagues. I played first game with team in 2015, although they were much lower experienced players than me it was good practice as communication is a vital part of this game. In 2016 I entered my first online tournament but didn't do so well. My highest rank standing has been global and now it's legendary eagle master. These days I mainly play on faceit, it's platform where people can play against each other for rewards and enter tournaments or leagues. More on that later.
Start of series : Chapter 1 - Movement and Positioning preview
Positioning is one of the fundamentals you need to master and it's the first aspect you should master. This is going to be short preview about positioning and movement. The next post will go in full depth about this aspect of the game. Now let's talk about what is bad position and what is good position. Good positioning starts from finding the best effective angles. This means finding an position that makes your shots easier to hit while putting yourself to minimum amount of danger as possible. You also need to learn when to change positions and angles, I'll talk about this more in the indepth post. In the following picture I show good positions to defend in Mirage map and also explain what makes each of them good. -->
Bad positions include those that you can't fall back from (called one and done spots), those that enemies prefire when they peak and positions you can't be helpful or effective from to your team and those where you are too far away from cover.
- There are some positions where you can't fall back from but are actually good positions when you work together with a teammate. You can try to use your teammate as a bait or vice versa.
- One and done spots, where you can't fall back from, you can get one easy kill as the entry fragger (first enemy to enter) has so many angles to check but usually you'll die to the second enemy once your position is revealed.

Triangles are the one and done spots. I did not number them because their idea is pretty much the same in all of them.
Being in a position that enemies doesn't expect you to be in and you are making your enemies to commit their lives to killing you so your teammate could get an easy kill.
Circles are good positions to play from and I have numbered them to tell exactly how and when it's a good position to play from.
Called as backside B It's a good position if your teammate is at bench or in b site (4) If your teammate is at short(2) were he mostly are going to play from then a better position would be bench or b site(4).
Called as short/cat it's a position where most of the time 1 of the b players should go because he can easily help middle from there if assistance is required, he can quickly rotate to A from middle (You will find out where following places are from the second picture) and he has good cover behind the pillar, he can hear the steps of the enemies who are in apartments and he can help easily the teammate he's playing B with.
Called as car/van it's a position where you can get a good pick from and then fall back to bench or to b site(4). Both a rifle and an awp is doable.
Called as B site B site is the whole red area but 4 is the spot where enemy normally would be if your teammate says 1 B site. It's a good position to play from if your teammate is in a short(2) and it gives you lot of room to retreat to backside(1) if needed.
Called as firebox It's a position that is good with awp and rifle however it is very bad position if enemies has middle control. That's why I would change my position immediately if enemies has control over it. However it is very effective position to play from if your teammate is at stairs(8) watching palace so no one get's behind you without noticed and you have middle control.
Called as Triple box. It's a good position to play from if you have teammate to watch palace from jungle or stairs(8). You have lot of room and lot of different angles to shoot from.
Called as ticket. It's a good position to play from with awp. You can defend ramp from there very easily and works very well with a guy on stairs but even if the stairs guy dies you can still work very well on your own.
Called as stairs. It's a very good position to hold palace from and you can still help your teammate even if terrorists decides to push only ramp.
Called as shadow/under balcony. It's a good position to play from because you can retreat angle by angle to position where you have zero angle or you can play it safe from there and listen steps if they are coming towards a but that is mostly late of the round and you are only one holding a and you need to play time so you can get your teammates to there.
Called as palm it's a bad position to be in if enemies decides to rush a because you are way too far away from cover and enemies who will push ramp will get easy kill on you because they are going to pre-aim you sometimes even prefire. However peeking from next of the stairs is good but i don't recommend doing that if you don't have awp because you get picked pretty easily
Called as ninja it's a bad position to be as a ct because even though you might get 1 kill but your changes to get that kill isn't that great because the enemies in tetris are going to spot you easily from there, enemies who come from palace can pretty much drive over you and it's the terrorist players favorite spot to go hide as soon as they are in site and terrorists doesn't have to commit their lives to kill you but for a terrorists that is very good after plant position to be in because you can try to peek the guy in stairs without your head showing and you can't be seen by ct and most of the time ct's has used most of their utilities so they can't use molotov or grenades to kill you .
