My name is Braydon, but my friends call me Doom or Doombot. I am an artist, producer, and creator based in Kansas City, MO. I work both locally and remotely on a variety of multimedia projects, including music, film, visual design, and writing. I have 15 years experience in the music industry, as a composer, performer, promoter, and producer. I have also worked as a instrument tech, and repairman, with my expertise being in guitars and synthesizers. I have had the pleasure, and good fortune, to work with some of my favorite artists in the industry, although, I have always been on the underground and counterculture side of things. I work from my home studio, and on location with my mobile studio, and I am always willing to consider new projects.
My personal aesthetic is often described as "goth," "punk," or "glam," although I have never been one to agree with such categorization. Genres and niches, in my opinion, limit my creativity, and I am always looking to test boundaries, try new things, and push the envelope in my creative statements. I like to describe myself as an eccentric, and a polymath. I find both terms to be positive attributes that describe my work and personality. The only constant in my world is evolution, or change.
To be honest, I have never really liked writing about myself, and I must admit my weakness in doing as such. For this reason, I am going to keep this initial post short and sweet, so I can get back to the rest of my work.
