The rate at which people now re-introduce themselves on this platform has become more rampant and it has to be reduced or stopped. For how long will this continue?
We don't know the newbies anymore.
Is it because of the downfall of cryptocurrency that has pushed many people into doing things in an abusive manner?
Be careful if you are one of them. Let's manage the little we've got and let the newbies enjoy what we had enjoyed during our own days.
Secondly, the misuse of tags especially "introduceyourself" has to come to an end.
Well, let me not take it personal because this is not my father's house. Please let us help the newbies by not making much use if their tags. Thanks and have a great day.

Perhaps if it was possible to "pin" posts at the top of the blog then the introduction post could be pinned instead of having it get lost.
Of course it's true too that many are just abusing the #introduceyourself tag.

Interface of SteemIt is very bad. There are many features of common social sites which are not incorporated. I wish they improve it soon. I am still confused whether I should call it blogging site or social site.

I think blogging site is the more appropriate term. Everything is public here. There is no way to even send someone a PM. It is missing too many features that would be required to call it a social site. Though of course we can still socialize here, but it seems most people move to chat apps like discord for that.

That's true. I also realized the wrong use of tags few weeks ago and since then I have been sending gentle reminders to many people.
