Going to keep this introduction post brief and to the point but..

If any of you other new users are lurking panicking when your steemit account is going to get verified, don't worry. It just takes quite awhile. Mine took probably about a week like the rest of you guys. It got verified when I forgot about this site all together and, then seeing that email thoughts came rushing back of intense elation and excitement. It's nice getting into steemit though! Finally, at last!

It's nice seeing alternate platforms exist to flock to. This day is quite a happy one. It's nice not being censored for your beliefs and, if the unfortunate happens will just have to immigrate somewhere else. It's fine and dandy being an internet nomad searching for a great place. Thank you, the creator(s) of steemit for making this platform.

If it weren't for watching alternative news on Youtube would've never known of the existence of this site.
