Hi Steemit!
My name is Marco, 39 - I live in the beautiful Black Forest in the south of Germany.
Two days ago was the first time I heard from Steemit from a friend and instantly was eager to give it a try. So I'm really curious to get to know this community...
I love to travel around the world, see new places and hike and climb in the nature. Since I was a kid I was fascinated by taking photographs: I love shooting landscapes. It's always a challenge to capture the essence and character of a certain place with the camera. I try to put the emotions i felt when watching a spectacular scenery into the image.
Here's one of my favorites in Germany:

In the next days I will post more pictures and travel reports about some of the greatest places on earth like the Atacama Desert in Chile, Iceland or the Canadian Rockies...
Besides traveling and Landscape photography i love playing and watching basketball. I'm a fan of the New York Knicks and of course of the greatest german basketball player of all time: Dirk Nowitzki.
