We are a species of built in contrast, perhaps conflict. It would seem we collectively are easily manipulated at the macro level. This is demonstrated by Edward Bernays in your attached video.
We can also see the contrast of this manipulation which is demonstrated by Nazi fascism as opposed to the new deal.
In both cases I would argue that this control is made possible by controlling real resources and that control is facilitated by the monetary system.
