An Introduction: Pleasure to make your acquaintence.

Ahoy, people of the Steemit. I am Hew J La France; an author who daylights as a registration representative at a local hospital. I joined Steemit so I could read my friend's fitness blog, and since then she's been harassing me to do a blog myself, so... here I am. I'll update my page with pictures and such later, but I wanted to at least get this much up here so people would know what nature my blogs would take.

As an author I plan on writing about writing: going through the books I've written and writing about the development process for those stories, and what things in my world shaped the decisions I made to the story. When my blogs aren't about that, I'll be writing about books I've read/am reading. Not necessarily a 'review', but sort of.

Lastly, it's likely I'll be writing about nerd culture. I'm a big fan of TCGs (Trading Card Games), and enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh and Final Fantasy TCG, so you can expect to hear about those. Excited to see where this leads... if anywhere, but... here I am. Nice to meet you!
