Thought I'd start my first post with an Introduction
My name is Jaideep, 21 years old, living in India and currently a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
I've been into cryptocurrencies since 2013. Back then I used to mine altcoins(Mainly Dogecoin back in the day) on a computer I had built using a single HD6970 GPU.
I'm also into lots of other activities like rock climbing, parkour, Diy projects, Modifying electronics and such.
Also I enjoy travelling around the world.

The concept of using a blockchain for a platform like steemit sounds like a really innovative idea. This has big potential and I wanted to try it out and hence I joined. Still have a lot to learn about how things work around here.
I wish to see decentralization of our currency system in the future. Have watched/heard many talks by Andreas Antonopolous and I totally agree with him. Banks have too much influence.
Looking forward to steemit becoming bigger and will contribute to it in every way I can.
