Hey everybody!
I read reddit all the time, but I don't normally post things. I'm what they call a lurker. One of the reasons why is because reddit karma is essentially meaningless internet points. I love the idea of steemit because theoretically, content creators are encouraged to create higher quality posts in exchange for some chump change. I think it has the potential to be a better network than reddit and medium!
I have recently been conducting a lot of research into cryptocurrencies, and I'm invested in a couple dozen. I'm considering posting about them, not to shill any, but as a way to help others cut through the BS.
Anyone in for the ride?

Welcome and I know exactly what you mean by lurker. I too follow other sites where I just read, because what's the point of engaging when I'm really just there to learn.
