Hello, My New Steemit Family!

I am so excited that I was accepted here. When I was first "turned on" to Steemit, I thought, "Wow! A social network that you can actually make money on? There has to be a catch."..

Well, after some research (mainly, looking up the website, and checking out the basics), I found that there was No Catch Whatsoever, just a lot of hard, diligent work. It looks challenging, but it's a challenge that after two+ years of thought and preparation (read 'procrastination') in my personal career goals(more about that later), it is a challenge that I am ready for. A challenge that, I feel, will be of personal benefit in more ways than financially.

Just What Do I Mean?..
I suppose this is the part where I tell you a little about myself. OK. Here we go...

My name is Ron Roper. I live in the State of Oklahoma where I work as a Waiter, but my aspirations lie in Voice Acting. This is where all of my thoughts and means of preparation have gone to for the last TWO YEARS. I call it procrastination, but for me, It's not really a "putting off" but more of a sense of "extreme overwhelm", that sometimes is debilitating. But now, I find myself finally dissatisfied with this way of life. I have so much bottled up inside of myself. So much to share. So I will share it with you. I hope to be funny sometimes, informative sometimes, and in a weird way, entertaining always. ..

Since I still consider myself somewhat tech illiterate, I welcome any and all constructive (and I do mean CONSTRUCTIVE) comments to let me know how I'm doing and help me become a Good Steemaritan!..
