Hi Steemit! My name is Kendall from Chicago, and I began contributing to this community roughly a month ago. Posting on Steemit has been a positive experience for someone relatively new to blog-style posting thanks to the lack of internet trolls and unsubstantiated comments I've come across.
My goal as a contributor is to produce high-quality posts that incite discussion while also remaining a total of 500 words or less. The 500-word cap is a challenge to ensure my writing structure and word choice is thoughtful, while also reminding myself that nobody wants to read paragraphs upon paragraphs of content. It becomes overwhelming, and I know I’m not that interesting.
I have primarily written about the cryptocurrency/blockchain technology space but am also interested in sharing my experiences on health and fitness. Currently I am working on a post about training for a marathon as someone previously dedicated to the weight room as opposed to the track. Fitting that into less than 500 words has already been a challenge.
Appreciative of this community and looking forward to seeing it grow in the years ahead.

There is actually a practice called "morning pages" which has the same challenge - but more for tranquil and mindfullness effects..so you can expect some extra benefits in addition to your Steem power and dollars :) Good luck!Upvoted!
