Divorced...Becoming 2nd Hand Goods (Episode 1)

You always dreamed about your wedding day, but never in your wildest dreams did you prepare for the day when you get separated...or as we know it, DIVORCED. That day you get to know the real person you were married to for many years...a different side, anger, swearing, greed and so many things that replaced the soft cuddly words and kisses. What now? Where do you go? Being Single was not your idea of a life; in fact the day when you left your parents house you moved in with your partner and single life was never an option. 

Today the word "divorce" became a "every-minute" used word compared to the era of our parents. They had to hold on and eventually got to "re-love" again just for the sake of not us the children, but for their parents and the community, because it was a big no-no in the old days. Every person you come across today are  either divorced or in their second...third or fourth marriage. Children today have the biological father or mother and the rest is just becoming a fashion word and that is the typical "bad" Stepmother or Stepfather. In every conversation or social gathering there are those groups, the singles, the newly weds, the still married parents and the divorcees. Especially when it comes to school functions the two groups namely the married parents and divorcees try not to mingle for their spouses are scared that they could bring an illness over their own marriage.  

After the divorce things do not end at all for there are the blame-game and constant fights over who get to see the children when and jealousy if the other half have met up with somebody and they look happy. What now...You are single now and first thing is first and you start browsing the internet for dating sites and your friend want to introduce you to their friends that are also divorced or who is looking only for a "one night stand". That one-night stand which you thought could be a life partner shatter your dreams again and now you become very wary who you date again. Even the dating sites are full of it, married and single people looking for a one night stand...sex only without any attachment. You are in a mine-field and you start to get more emotional and your self image are crumbling and you start to withdraw from socialism. You start to blame yourself for the failure of your marriage and more and more you start to think of ways to get back together with the person you spend your time with and had children with. In general, those with small children especially woman have a more difficult time dating with the possibility of a serious relationship for the man nor a woman want to raise other peoples children especially now that they have become spoiled brats and all with the absent parent spoiling them rotten and also using them as a weapon to destroy their X's love-life. Things are just getting worse for as soon as people especially the young hunters out there looking for experience in the bed, they always target those vulnerable; you because they know you can now handle rejection and they can have their way with you. You became Second Hand goods to everybody out there and you are going to get used and abused unless you become more meticulous. On the shelf you are as the others see it and always available is the general idea by those on the hunt for experience and not for a serious relationship.
