Hello!

My name is Lórien. I'm 24 years old and I live in Venezuela. Last year I became a doctor and since then my life has been crazy (kinda cliché but it's the truth. I'll tell you about that later). My dad is already a doctor and my little sister is half way on her career (she's studying medicine too) so I think being close to health related jobs must be written in our genes.

At first I wasn't sure what to do when I grew up, but I always wanted to help people and travel around the world. I remember how badly I wanted to go with my dad back in 1999 when the Vargas's tragedy took place (one of the worst my country has seen. I recommend you read a little about it), I didn't care I was just 7 years old, I just wanted to help the ones in need.

My last names...

I don't know much about my family's beginnings. I barely know my dad's side comes from Germany back in the 20's I think they were part of the German Consulate in Venezuela and started spreading around the country. It feels like finding a treasure each time I see my last name in the news, social media and stuff. My mom's side also has its own "flavor". From what I know we are part of the descendents of Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi, considered an Independence's heroine in my country (here's a link where you can find out who she was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luisa_C%C3%A1ceres_de_Arismendi)

Sometimes I think that weird mixture had to do with my tough character and endless desire of justice and fighting for the truth.

So this is just a little bit about myself. There's still so much to share! I'll try to tell you more next time.
