Movie reviews by Mandibil - introducing myself

Hi Steemers. Welcome to my blog

It was Jeff Berwick @dollarvigilante, who made me aware of Steemit, and i have spent a week figuring out how this new thing works. I quickly realized the potential of Steemit but it has taken some time looking into it to figure out how it actually works.

Much wiser now than a week ago i take a moment here to introduce myself. I am an anarcho capitalist living in Denmark. I have a philosophical channel on youtube called "Mandibil" (means "man in car") https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3vWKPe1PW8hxIs_k0SwbiA
. I usually record podcasts in my car about any philosophical subject, mostly with reference to the state, but also a variety of other subjects. I record in danish.

My first thought was to use Steemit as a stepstone for the youtube channel. But then i realized that it would not differ from my usual linking from Facebook or Twitter. Steemit is another thing, and to keep the project supported i needed to make some original material instead.

Therefore an old idea popped back in my head. I have thought about making a movie review blog of some kind, but had not figured out how to do it. I realized that this would be a great way to support Steem and also a way, maybe, to make a few sheckels.

I am into all kinds of movies, but usually the non-mainstream types. It is not likely that i will review, say "Fantastic 4" or "Flubber". Rather you could expect reviews of the narrow quality movies from all around the world AND a good deal of classics going back to the great silent cinema.

My way of reviewing will be highly personal. I will not give you the established view of what is considered great movies, i will give you my personal view and i will explain my views. I will try to make them rather short and to the point. Personally i hate long and selfabsorbed reviews, that you will skip and go to the conclusion at the end anyway. Keep it short and to the point

So if you enjoy quality movies in general you have come to the right place. Please follow and upvote along the way if you find my contribution valuable.

Lets create a better world.

Thank you

Watching great movies is one of my favourite pass times so look forward to checking them out!

Movies are like art for me. I like to watch them without anyone talking and disturbing. I like to watch the background, the acting, everything! Mostly thriller here! I think im the worst one to chose what to watch with. Seen it all!

That's a great attitude.

Would love to get your take on the movie Being There.

@daoine-sidhe you can bet that that one will appear at some time :-)

I think the dollarvigilante is why 90% of us are here

It would not surprise me @dollarvigilante is a shining anarchist beacon in dark statist world

Great idea! Everybody likes movies! Looking forward to read some of your articles :)

Thank you v much. I will concentrate on making quality stuff, rather than the qick buck. I am in for the long haul :-)

Haha that's the spirit my friend!

Nice. What's the most recent movie you've seen?

In theaters or in the home cinema ?

Both :)

I watched "A Man Escaped" yesterday at home. It has been some time since i went to the cinema. Think it was Force Awakens

I just saw Force Awakens from Redbox, it was pretty good. I saw the trailer for the next Star Wars movie and it looks like its going to take place between the 4th and 5th previous movies... Wish they would just go in order!
