Introduction

Hi! My name is Michael and I'm a filmmaker based in Poland... well kinda. I don't do it for a living, because I'm in school yet, but I'm already creating my portfolio. I tried to do it on YouTube, but it's really hard to get promoted by the algorithm with content, that needs a long production time and is not about trending topics.

How did I get here?

I found out about Steemit and Dtube thanks to a video about it made by a polish youtuber @carrioner and I really thought, it's the perfect solution for me. No censorship, no big corporation, that you have to obey and you can earn some money even as a small creator, so Youtube serves me now only as a forwarding to my Steemit and Dtube channels.

My Work

When it comes to my work, I find the story, I have to tell the most important, but I think, that audiovisual aspect of the video is an essential factor in storytelling. I love doing abstraction, because it never gives all the answers and leaves a field for my audience to come to the conclusions by themselves, but I know, that in order for it to do so, it needs to convey a very philosophical message, that can be communicated by visual allegories, which is not always possible.

My Goal

My goal on this platform is to get criticism on my work, so I can get experience and eventually make big-screen-like movies.
