Welcome Jeli! Upvoted and followed! I love your sharing about attachment parenting! I have two children ages 17 and 22 and we attachment parented and un-schooled both of them and they are two of my favorite humans on earth, vibrant, conscious and connected! I highly recommend looking into Nonviolent Communication (aka Compassionate Communication) developed by Marshall Rosenberg PhD as a way to support one in living the beauty of compassion and connection in each moment :) Peace and love all ways

Wow! that is sooo great! i am very happy to find my first steemian parent and one who decided to do things in a different way! i hope you can comment more of your experiences with us! What would you say was the number 1 pro and the number one con of un-schooling your kids? i would love for you to share more of this experience with us!

Hi, sorry for my late reply, alot going on and haven't been in steem-land the past few days.
Number 1 pro is that they are both very clear, awake, aware, self-motivated, introspective and creative people.
Un-schooling also allowed us the freedom to travel with them.... which we managed on a shoe-string, in fact, looking back I have no idea how we did it! Lots of camping and hostels which kept them connected to earth and meeting interesting people along the way!
Can't think of any real cons....perhaps a con is that they didn't have the same solid group of friends throughout their childhood....but instead they have amazing friends in many places, so it is not really a con.
Peace ~*~
