Phaneron

Greetings!

Me myself and I:
Here lies a martial artist, traceur, climber, diver, fencer etc. who is looking to learn more about my crafts while travelling the world. The original idea behind taking a camera to accompany me on my travels was the wish to show people the world in my eyes, which to me seemed to be quite different from the dullness I percieved most people's everyday to be.
I wanted to present an alternative.

I've semi-anonymously been creating weird little videos about many topics for years, mostly parkour, airsoft, viking combat & re-enactment, boffering, diving, adventuring and climbing.
They say a picture says more than a thousand words...

Diversity as my method
While knowing that posting many different videos about varying topics/subjects would probably not be an efficient means to gain views, I've done so in hopes of having somebody from one specific background (for example mixed martial arts) to be exposed to the appeal of other arts and disciplines, and to potentially become interested in cross-training other arts such as HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts), parkour or diving.
I have set myself on becoming the Uomo Universale of combat and movement, instead of specializing into one specific area, though this quest is impossible to finish and I am still only getting started.

Bumps in my road
My frequency of creating videos hasn't been to great since the past few potential years for adventures have been spent in the navy and in recovering from two major injuries, but now I'm already well back on my path.

I'll be posting videos here from the past years here to firstly see what kind of reception they get, but also because over the past two years I have grown a deep interest into the freedom of blockchains and cryptocurrencies.

What follows
My aim is to keep travelling, training, shooting (almost exclusively) Gopro videos about my adventures, competing and to keep reaching for my fullest potential day by day. One way or another, I wish to make my living by combat and/or movement one day.
I've never blogged, so far I have only been making these videos for my own entertainment and to have memories to go by, but I don't consider writing a travel blog to be an impossibility if it turns out that there is somebody interested enough in reading, seeing and hearing about my adventures.

I will start off by linking some of the already finished videos into here and to see where that leads me! I'm looking for an alternative to youtube as a platform to post my videos onto.

(The phaneron (Greek φανερός phaneros “visible, showable”) is essentially the real world filtered by our sensory input (sight, hearing, touch, etc). That is to say, one's phaneron is the world through one's eyes). Hence I present to you my Phaneron.
