Introducing myself to steemit

According to WHO, dental caries is still a major oral health problem in most industrialized countries, affecting 60-90% of schoolchildren and the vast majority of adults.

There are a lot of factors for industrialized countries to have higher caries prevalence, among them there is easy access to cariogenic foods.

In developing countries, even though there are lower caries prevalence in developing countries compared to developed countries; the majority of people are left untreated or undergo teeth extraction which is not fair.

Most of oral diseases are preventable if people were aware of the causes of the diseases, prevention measures and the treatment accordingly.

Dispites the oral health burden, globally there are a lot of achievements, thanks to the oral health education and promotion. But there are still a lot of work to do in oral health education.

As a dentist, I found steemit as a good place for oral health education.
I'll keep blogging in a simple language for everyone even layman to understand.

Hope this is going to improve oral health in general starting from steemit users.
