Traveling in the desert can be very fascinating.
It is not just rocks and sand.
Look what we found!
Is this a dead man's bone?
As you can tell from the following picture here, I got a little bit scared.
We didn't expect to see a bone lying there.
I wonder how long it has been there?
A day?
Probably not.
A month? Probably longer.
It looks so dry.
Maybe a year?
5 years?
It can't be a human bone as the desert is a harsh place for humans to live, yet a variety of animals thrive in the desert. Their bodies are very adaptive which allow them to cope with the extreme temperatures, lack of water and scarcity of food.
The first animal we think of in the desert is the camel. Camels can walk through the desert carrying goods under the burning sun and swirling sandstorms. They can go for days without water. They conserve moisture in their bodies. Their body temperature can rise to many degrees before they start sweating. Their humps store so much fat that they can go for days without going hungry at all.
Could this be a camel bone?
After we have take this picture, I have always wondered about this 'bone'.
Tell me what you think!
Whose bone is this?

The future of Conservatism lies in our beliefs and values, not by throwing them away. We need to shed associations that bind us to past failures, but hold faith with those things that make us Conservatives.
