Chào các bạn! - Let me be your photographic tour guide through life in Vietnam! My super intriguing introduction post!

Hi everybody! I'm brand new to Steemit and this is my first post, so I think an introduction is in order!

My name is Kyle Baird and I am a photographer from Upstate New York. One of my best friends and marketing extraordinaire @whoschrishughes introduced me to Steemit, so here I am to say hello and  tell you a little bit about my life. 

I moved from my home in Upstate New York to Vietnam in January of 2015. My first year in Vietnam I lived in a small rural town called Hòa Bình. In Spring 2016 I moved to the capital city, Hanoi, where I currently live. Photography has been a huge passion of mine for about 6 years now. My dream is to work in photojournalism and to be able to share my experiences with others and learn all I can about the incredible people on this planet. I teach English in Hanoi to support my travels and photography.

 

Most of my work can be found on Instagram under the same handle @secretplans  Myself and my friend @whoschrishughes have also created a feature page on Instagram, showcasing and curating our favorite street photography,  @streetfeat. 

While I do love the Instagram platform, I wanted a platform that would allow me to share my knowledge and experiences of daily life, culture, and travel in this part of the world, in a blog type fashion. My posts will give you the inside scoop on everything from some of the most incredible food I've ever eaten, to important current events in Southeast Asia. Also be on the look out for posts that deal with photo talk. I'm in love with analog photography and love to talk about that kind of stuff with anyone.
