Hi, everyone. We have been selling on Amazon for nearly 11 months, and I want to share my journey with you all.

To begin, this is our sales from last month.

Yes, we did nearly 10k in sales. How did we do it? That is what I will be sharing with you in the future. But before that, you may be asking, "What is Amazon FBA?"

You might have heard about Amazon FBA through Youtube, blogs, your Facebook feed, or any other type of social media.
It is very simple. We send our products to Amazon's fulfillment center, and when an order comes in, Amazon picks, packs, and ships it for us. They even provide customer service including dealing with refunds and replacements.

Sounds very simple, doesn't it?

Although it sounds simple, it can get complicated.

Let's say you want to sell this awesome T-shirt that you made, and you got good feedback from your friends and family. So you start to try selling it on Amazon. Well, most of the time, customers will not be able to find your T-shirt because there are so many competitors.

So am I saying that there is no hope in selling Amazon?
Not quite. If you know what to sell and how to sell, you might be able to build a good business.

There are mainly 3 types of business models. They are retail arbitrage, online arbitrage, wholesale, and private label.
Let me use an example to help you understand better.

Retail arbitrage (RA): I go to Walmart and buy Cheetos that are selling at a higher price on Amazon. After purchasing the Cheetos, I send them to the Amazon warehouse, hoping to flip them.

Online arbitrage (OA): I go to Walmart.com and buy Cheetos that is also selling at a higher price on Amazon. After purchasing the Cheetos, I send them to the Amazon warehouse, again hoping to flip them. (The only difference is that you are buying online)

Wholesale: I buy 100 Cheetos from a wholesaler and ship them to the Amazon warehouse, hoping to sell them.

Private Label: I contact a manufacturer that makes T-shirts through Alibaba. I make a deal and put my brand logo on the T-shirt. With 1,000 shirts made, I have them shipped to Amazon, hoping to sell them.

I hope these examples gave you a clearer picture.

If you want to start on your own Amazon FBA journey, I highly recommend starting with retail or online arbitrage because it is the safer route and personally what we have found success with. I am not saying you should only stick with retail or online arbitrage, but it is a good way to learn more about selling on Amazon.
