The beginning of a new Journey

Dreams. They are what drive us to wake up everyday helping us achieve our goals and also what brings us together to achieve something bigger.

Today is a dream for me. the beginning of an incredible journey. Today, not only did i join steemit ( i couldn't wait 2 weeks :D so I paid the 0.01 ETH) but it is also the first day i foray into the cryptocurrency world! I started with buying $1 worth of bitcoin. (I later bought a $100 more and some ether to go with it).

You may say I am late to the bandwagon and I always knew that. I knew that from the moment I realized I should have invested in Bitcoin 5 years ago. But its ok. I believe that digital currencies are going to only increase in value and I believe in my own ability to make wise economic decisions!

I come from San Jose, California - home to the silicon valley, home to many dreamers (and incredibly high rents). Like all of you I dream of making it big and being successful.

Today is also an important day for another reason - Today is the day I realize my dream of writing and sharing my creativity with the world. Ever since I was 15 and wrote my first poem, I knew that I wanted to write. What we write can inspire, incite anger, love, compassion, motivate people and so much more. It is a medium that allows us to express ourselves universally.

I am incredibly grateful to be a part of this community, to be among you, to learn from you and to share so much more.
