A Little Bit About Myself
Hey Steemit Communuity, my name is Nolan Jacobson, (theprophet0) on here. I am 14 years of age. I live in Rockford, Illinois. 
I enjoy watching sports, playing video games, and Buying and Selling Cryptocurrency. 
I have a question for you guys, how many 14 year old's do you know enjoy buying and selling Cryptocurrency? Let alone how many 14 year old's do you know that even know what Cryptocurrency is? 
Your answer is probably 0 to none! Haha. Well here I will be telling you how I was introduced to Cryptocurrency and what I plan to do with it.
How I Was Introduced To Cryptocurrencies
First of all, I love to make money. I mean, who doesn't?! So I talked to my dad's best friend Nick LaMarca (npl77) and he introduced me to Cryptocurrency. I was super confused because I had never heard of Crypotocurrency. Later on, we talked some more and I did more research and started to understand what Cryptocurrency and blockchain's are. Nick had told me to buy some Bitcoin on coinbase.com and since he knows what he is talking about I used my lawn mowing money to buy some Bitcoin. 
Nick called me a few days later and introduced me to Ethereum and he was stoked about it! So from there I bought Ethereum on GDAX.com with my Bitcoin. A few nights later it was hacked! :( So after it was hacked I shapeshifted my Ethereum to TheDAO. I was taking a pretty big gamble by doing that because I was buying TheDAO at a 60% discount and hoping that Ethereum would get hard-forked or else I would have lost my money. But hey, I like to take risks and gamble! In the end I ended up making the right gamble and I made some extra money from TheDAO. 
5 Days ago, Nick introduced me to this website (steemit.com) and I saw a huge opportunity here considering everybody here has positive energy for the most part and you can make money on your content! 
So I had to wait for 2 days because they weren't letting people register but I finally registered 3 days ago! I shapeshifted my DAO back to Bitcoin and deposited my Bitcoin on here to get SteemPower! I think this website is super awesome considering you make money for your content and no other social media's do this! In my opinion I think one day this site will be bigger than Facebook when people here about it.
What I Plan To Do With My Cryptocurrency
In the long run I am hoping from investing in Cryptocurrecy I can pay for my college tuition debt free.

Awesome! Its very exciting to see the younger generation becoming more aware and interested in the many different opportunities that exist. I just turned 22 myself and can barely get friends and family to wrap their head around cryptocurrencies. Most people rather stay clueless. Coming from college myself, my guess is that you seem to really have a good head on your shoulders and may not need to go to college. You are already lightyears ahead of your peers and don't seem only invested in things that everyone else your age is concerned with. My advice is to just keep learning, keep reading most importantly, and don't let anyone discourage you. Become a self-educating learning machine, most things can be self-taught. College can really stun your growth if you're someone who doesn't need it. Its a great social experience, but more of a black hole for money. I know this isn't the type of reply you are expecting, but always keep in mind that with every decision, comes an opportunity cost. Keep killing the blogs btw!

TBH i sorta like to keep it to myself because i think its cool I am like the only 15 year old that knows about this shit. No problem. Yea I also felt like I had no choice, but maybe things will be different as you get closer. Now, they offer amazing courses for really low prices on sites like Udemy too. Either way, I have no doubt you'll be successful. Best of luck!

Good on you mate. It is people like you who will move crypto forward I think I saw another young lad on here too.
Very responsible to be thinking about finances and preparing for the future. I suspect that paper money may become obsolete within your lifetime (may be even mine). What do your parents think about crypto? I've tried explaining it to mine but they just don't get it.
