From $0, Depression & Social Anxiety to Successful Serial Entrepreneur & Motivational Speaker

Hey fellow steemates!

I am Tom, a 21 years old entrepreneur who is passionate to inspire millions of people to grow in all areas of life!
5 years ago I was highly depressed, insecure, had no money and didn't see any point in living. Today, I am the complete opposite of that:
- Own over 20 successful businesses & opening 3 new ones a month while helping others to grow with me.

- Flew over 50 times in 2016 while traveling the world - living in the clouds :) .

- Improved my Social & Relationships life dramatically.

- LOVING life, consistently evolving in multiple areas & looking to inspire and teach millions to do the same!

No matter where you are at right now, START right away! Life could always become WAY better if you just make PROGRESS towards 1 thing at a time.

The way I see it, there are 4 levels of self fulfillment:

1. Master one area of your life(can be anything you really want).

2. Use the gained confidence to improve multiple other areas.

3. Your transformation starts to impact the people around you.

4. You become so good at what you do, that you can add massive value to the world, strangers & people you don't even know while doing what you love. 10 minutes of your time, 1 action could now change multiple people's lives for the better.

I have a following on other social media platforms but I see Steemit as a great opportunity to reach out to and inspire more people during my journey. Follow me for motivational content, videos & learn practical things no one teaches you at school to become the best version of yourself, succeed & grow in the following areas: Lifestyle, Business, Mindset, Health, Fitness, Social & Relationships.

Lastly, here is one piece of content I wrote which I would like to share with you today:
"Succeed by making other people successful. Evolve to become the person that carries people on his shoulders while growing himself. Set a goal that aligns multiple people's goals. Change your life VS Change your life & many others in the process. This is how you will go to the next level, both in your personal success and fulfillment wise, which is what it's all about."

Let me know in the comments what areas of your life are you struggling with or want to improve. I will provide the best content possible to help you out in those.
Let's make it happen!

I just happened to notice that Mark Lyford, well-known scammer, is using this post to promote his product:

He is misleading people in the video, claiming that the dollar amount that the post has earned is fully given to the author. But in fact it's the reward for the post itself. Some of the sum will go to the author, but the rest will go to the users who upvoted that post.

Excellent post. I totally understand where you have been and am so glad you have overcome and are helping others do the same!

Hey Tom.
You are an inspiration to me! I lost my 19 year old son last year to suicide.Never ever saw it coming.
Wish he could have worked his way out of depression. He had a lot going for him and he just could not see it. He was my best buddy.
I feel empty and try to hide a lot along with PTSD. Before this happened I had a very sunny outlook. But, I am working on keeping busy. Life will never be the same without that sweet face.
Keep telling your story.
I think there a lot of people your age that could use some inspiration!

I appreciate you!

Hey buddy.
You don't even know what this words mean to me. I am really sorry for what happened to you.
I can tell you for sure, I am not going to stop inspiring more and more people every day, that is my mission.
And one thing I want to say to you is, imagine what your son would want for you. What can you do to make him proud? I imagine he would want you to be really happy and go for the things you want. Do this for him. If you move away from pain, you could do big things in life. Use that. Go for what you want. You got this!

Overcoming depression is difficult because it destroys your motivation and there is still a big social stigma attached to it. People still don't take it seriously.

True. I also found that people(including myself) who manage to get out of it and have momentum of success could little by little become very successful in the areas of life they want to become good at. We either move away from pain or towards pleasure. If you know your reasons why you must achieve something, you are way more likely to make it.

Depression is just seeing things clearly and not accepting how unfair the world is. For some people there is also a physical imbalance that causes or amplifies it though.

welcome to steemit.
just two advises for you:

  • it's common to post a proof picture that your are who you claimed to be to avoid identity theft. It happened before.
  • it sounds like you have a personal blog and materiel somewhere on the web. if you are going to copy it here (which is totally fine) it might get flagged by @cheetah a bot who searches plagiarized content. you can get white flagged by contacting @anyx the bot owner.

Hey Ooak,
First, thanks a lot for the advice!
So I just need to make a picture with myself holding Steemit logo and the date? Afterwards, where should I put the picture? In every post?
And, you are saying that if something get flagged I contact anyx, but how do I do it exactly?
Cheers.

Thanks again, I will do take care of that tomorrow :)

Welcome to the Steemit!

It's awesome to have you onboard, I think its great how you have overcome these obstacles to achieve the magnitude of greatness which you have, I am sure you inspire a lot of people and will continue to do so in life.

Very nice and good article about your personal experience, lots of people go through that, and not all "survive" in a good way, glad you now are helping others to overcoming and succeed like you, kudos to you.

That's awesome man. Not everyone can overcome depression. Seems like you turned a negative into a positive. Usually the best remedy for solving your own problems is by helping others solve theirs. :)

Amazing article, love it! I'm sure you have and you will have great impact to the people around you. Hope that they can follow your words and understand that positive actions and positive mindset is an important step to succede. Continue like that!
