I too struggled with "who's going to care what I have to say" here on steemit, it can be hard having no experience blogging for an audiance to come to grips with something like this.
But people DO seem to care, I get recognition for my efforts and more response every day! Quite a boost to the self esteem and helps me come out of my shy shell and want to share even more :)
My advice is to just be you and post about what you're in to, and you will find a community of like minded folk that cant wait to hear from you <3

I understand the feeling, i'm also new on the platform, slowly but surely we will get there.
I do the same, my posts go from one topic to another, i started on steemit just taking pictures, then i went to cryptos and my last posts was about antibiotics xD
You are level '19' and you already want to be an adult, i 'm level '23' and i still need to level up the skill "adultmind" xD
Animals are also a big love of mine, i'm studying veterinary, i love that i live out in the countryside, i'm 10 minutes away from nature, everytime i want to run i go out into nature and run there, i took some pictures and posted them on my blog if you ever want to relax and look at some pictures come by anytime
I stopped playing pokemon when i was 12, i think... i only played the original pokemons (red, blue), after the originals i think it kinda lost some of magic :( i advanced to mmorpgs after that gw2 and wow
