Who am I?
My name is Michael Ball aka @ballinconscious. I live in the United States in Dallas, TX where I was born and raised.
Heard about steemit a while ago but recently been having lots friends join so I decided to try it. So this is a story about me, my ideas, goals, values, my search to find my self-expression in life and on the internet.

lost on the internet
Ive been searching for a way to express myself, channel my energy into something inspiring for myself and others. I am so grateful for the internet, for all Ive learned, for all thats been provided for me by the content creators out there (software, articles, torrent, hacks, etc.) and because of the worldly perspective it has given me; Especially since where I live, it is very cut off from the majority of all other countries and continents.

That being said, I often feel very small on the internet. Like what could my opinion possible add to what is already there; Sometimes I catch myself writing something and then deleting it. I mostly been a follower of everyone else, depending on whats popular, especially with social media. First myspace and then they started to have to many viruses and spam. Then facebook, now its flooded with apps, spam, shameless plugging, advertisements everywhere, and meaningless liking to help support/acknowledge those close to us. I often feel like I am late to the party and everything has already happened by the time I arrive (youtube, twitter, Instagram, tumblr, bitcoin, etc.).
Ive been mostly an advanced user through out my internet exploration. Recently I have decided to become a content creator and made all my online profiles. Sadly though, I let time go by between my creations and just let those profiles sit with inactivity. Lately I feel inspired now though and have learned that the best time to start is now.
what's my title? my reputation? or group I'm a part of?
Well, I don't really have a group that I categorize myself in. Not really falling into any category of politics and religion; I probably do lean towards one side more but I do not feel connected as to title myself to any these sects (anarchist seems to be popular here). Which sometimes causes a lack of support from those who would identify with a similar title that I identify with. I fit into all group and I fit into none of them
If I were to title myself I would do it by my skills which I have honed and enjoyed the most. Listing in a chronological order, I am a: Musician, philosopher, Licensed Massage Therapist, Smoothie/juice maker, licensed Clinical Hypnotherapist and a writer.
But above all I am a truth seeker, willing to push the boundaries of my reality far enough to where is shatters the false truth of my foundation that I was born into. After experiencing many of my past truths broken, I am left with the thoughts that

Which leaves me with a feeling of emptiness but also provides me with an opportunity for letting go of the past. To create something new, something Ive never explored before. I am now opening myself to all possibilities of truth. For I am learning that truth really only come in half truth because of the duality of the world we live in. I now have the intention to embrace all spectrum of thought; Even if it threaten my own sense of being or reality. I embrace those who are titled crazy, I embrace those who are titled "conspiracy theorist". For the are just seeing a spectrum of truth that I am not able to access yet.
My hopes
Is that this platform will provide a place for me to express all that I have learned and possibly provide support for the monetary system that surrounds me. Bettering myself with peers to interact with that will help us both expand for the better. A place were quality content actually matters and is rewarded; Not just to the fanatic who yells the loudest, not just a popularity contest for the person who's created a famous profile, and not just the person who has the most money to invest. Even though I know that steemit does have some of those weaknesses at the moment.
I believe/see that steemians are moving beyond all that with changes and constructive input from each individual.
