I'm gonna tell a real story......
I'm gonna start with my name
Those are the words of Kendrick Lamar
The Patriarch, The Patriarch, so many of my friends call me that, but that isn't my name, wasn't even my nick name originally but somehow I have metamorphosed into that.
My name is Uluocha Kingdom Chukwudi, from Abia State in the Eastern Part of Nigeria. Growing up, most of my friends called me Kingchuks, and that was until I finished my University studies and set up my Fashion House business.
My business name is Royalties Clothings and that gave me the name of Royalties-boss, a name which I really liked and so from Kingchuks I became The Royalties-boss, this was how I was addressed until I lost my father in 2018.
My late dad, he was the Patriarch of the Uluocha family until his demise and with his death the role of leadership came upon my little shoulders, but I carried it with pride and dignity.
Me and my mum pulled from Facebook.
On one of the occasions when we had a family get together while making plans for my late father's burial, there was a heated argument between two of my cousins and I waded in and resolve the issue. There were also so many other issues on ground during this period, my extended family was at verge of collapse but somehow I managed to handle these issues.
So many lingering court cases and litigations within the family was dropped and gradually peace was restored, due to the manner in which I handled most of these issues, my cousins unanimously agreed that I should take over from my Father in the leadership of the Family, hence I was named the new Patriarch of the Uluocha Dynasty.
This was how the name Royalties-boss died a natural death and every one now started calling me the Patriarch.
This is who I am, I am defined by my responsibility and I do have a whole lot of them on my shoulders. Today I am here in Steemit and I intend to be purposeful in my journey here, make new friends, learn new things and attain greater heights.
