HELLO ALL FROM VANCOUVER , BC

Hi , My name is Cher and i am new to steemit and i am very excited to get started. I am from Windsor, Ont. and i moved to Vancouver 9 years ago. I was sooo bored and decided i needed a major life change before i turned the big 40. I quit my job that i had for 17 years, packed up my house. grabbed my dog ,and jetted off to Vancouver. . I have never looked back . It was the best decision . Scary but I have been here 9 years now and love every minute of it. Windsor was fun as that is my hometown, but i feel like i have done more exciting things in these past 9 years than i have in my past 40 years in Ontario.
I was alone here and it forced me to get out of my comfort zone and explore. I joined many different clubs in order to meet new people. Some were great and some not so great but at least i tried. Tennis-fun,
ultimate frisbee not so much considering i had no idea what the game even was. Basically all i did was run back and forth never touching a Frisbee. Definitely not the sport for me.
My fav thing i found was running clubs in which i made most of my friends.
I love running and i would never have ran a marathon if it werent for the friends that i have met.
That is all for now, but i cant wait to return and post some of my fun adventures .
I was never a facebook fan but a friend introduced me to steemit and this is way more appealing .
