Well most introverts I've come across in my life have shown to me that they only keep to themselves when it comes to physical interactions or going out and having fun et al,  but inside their head is a whole lot of messed up stuffs.  They are one of the best writers you might ever come across,  they also have a very good sense of imagination aside that they are the reason why the social media thrives.  They might be secluded and self absorbed  but on the social media they are quite adventurous. Need i mention,  they are hell of romantic as well.

what i came to understand about them is that  they ain't actually scared of being social, they appreciate the social life more than we the extroverts but their definition of having fun is quite different from we extroverts and they experience the social life differently from we extroverts.

Introverts would rather  be on social media being social and giving humorous and savage responses to tweets than go to the club.  They'd  rather be reading and writing historical romance than see them in movies.  They take solace in music during their down times and their happiness mostly is not tied to anyone  but themselves. To the world they might be introvertial but to them they enjoy their individual lives and are not afraid to be who they wanna be.  However  they become extremely wild whenever they decide to launch out and shelf their introvert self.
