I am kicking myself for terribile market prediction connected to currently being developed EOS platform.
I am programmer. I know EOS will overwhelm Bitcoin and Ethereum in the future, but in the same time when it came to buy EOS, I thought I can wait and get better price.
I was convinced price will drop because of constant EOS token emission. (https://eos.io/)
At that time the price was 0.5$ for EOS token.
Suddenly! A few weeks ago price shots up to 1$ almost in one day.
I started to be afraid, but still I thought: Bartosz you have time nothing will happen. I was responsible enough to buy small chunk at that price. Currently price oscillates on about 4.5$ level and I am at least a little bit happy I bought this small chunk at 1$ price.
One thing make me sad
The think is, when the price was 0.5$ I was thinking about buying a lot of EOS! Sadly or even more sadly I didn't do it. I could be a lot closer to make my dream come true. Closer than ever before, my family would be pride, my friends would be happy and I could finally buy this big table to sit around and play Game Of Thrones Board Game for 9 players comfortable with all friends.
Now I am asking myself extremely important question what I did wrong? How could I miss that?
And I think I know, or at least I suspect. I assume current crypto market is full of people completely not knowing anything about technology. People following trend, when the price grows a little they converge to feast on new crypto meal. I assume if you ask most of this people question how the blockchain works or how the consensus is achieved, they won't answer but in the same time they will buy every occurrence of novelty they see.
That's my assumptions. I based it on this sudden peaks on all more popular currencies and on my EOS history. What you, my dear reading friends, think, am I right?
Give me your comments and lets make good conclusion together.
I see markets as leaving creatures.
They behave like their biggest chunk of participants.
If market is mature sudden peaks almost never happens. Mature creature knows he is right no matters what others think.
If markets consist of children always expect everything. Child change its mind everyday, one day it will buy Bitcoin thinking its the best, the other day it will switch to Monero and tells you it is the best, to suddenly do something more unexpected, something you and I have never think about.
"The market is like a jungle and the average investor is going to be killed."
I made the same error with ethereum at the begging. With eos I don't risk buy every time I have some "garbage money" in one year will not matter a lot if you bought at 0.5 or 5. Eos it will be huge...

Keep calm EOS is a very solid project with tons of development experience in it. Soon as they launch the beta product the price will skyrocket!

I just bought EOS at 4.5$ and so far I am happy with my decision.
Today's marked is indeed a jungle and with the arrival of institutional money and derivatives, the real lions will come out and kill.
I think the traders will be the ones who will get killed. I think we are still early in this marked and we can stay safe by investing long term.
Good Luck!

Their are dozens of coins with good profits every day.
Bottom line: don't waste your time wining about lost profits, but better spend your time on trying to find the next go-to coin.
