Hello there wonderful Steemit folks!!!
I was thinking way to hard about what I wanted to write next. The crazy things that I have seen and been involved in are plenty to write about – while a bit sad, they are still amusing once you have realized I am still standing!
No. I want to send out some happy joy, joy vibes to all you beautiful souls. This platform has the ability to be an amazing tool and great resource. It needs some feel good words to those who may need a push in the right direction.
Or maybe you know someone outside the community that needs a different perspective – send them to this post.
Let the words begin…
You have the potential to be a good person. All that matters are the actions and words that you choose to use. It really is that simple.
You have the potential to be successful. All that matters is your perspective and understanding that you are the one that is responsible for you.
What you do today is what determines your future. Pick up a book, read a great article, play with your child, etc. etc. etc.
Your attitude towards your current situation matters. If you believe you are poor, then you are poor. If you believe you are wealthy, then wealth shall come.
If you see a person in need and are kind to them, you have made a difference.
No matter how bad your life is, there are people on this planet without internet, a phone, a computer – move that thought a bit further – No CLEAN WATER.
It is not your government’s responsibility to build the community that you live in. However, it is your responsibility to start getting your neighbors to help build a better community.
You are responsible for cultivating relationships. If you have no friends OFFLINE, then you need to start working on this now. What happens if the internet does not exist even for a week? Your mental health and your life depend on a strong OFFLINE Community.
