Stop elusive titles: Crypterra IS a scam

in investing •  7 years ago

It's been a very nice ride so far.
The cryptosphere provided us with a lot of entertainment, some earnings, some losses, lots of interesting projects and lots of interactions.
Did I mention scams?
Today I'd like to talk about a relatively new cloud mining scam: Crypterra.
Crypterra promises a very interesting ROI, competitive 2 years contracts, great referral programs and incredible discounts.
With them, anybody could easily mine bitcoin, ethereum, zcash, monero and litecoin. Uhm. NO.
Long story short: Crypterra worked for some users (i bet they didn't get all their money back though), Crypterra had been accepting payments and never gave hash power to lots of users, some users then had some payouts, their website went down several times and, latest news, they cancelled some payouts and their website had been down for days, no news on their twitter.
Is this is the end of Crypterra? Are they gonna come back and try to scam some more people? I don't know, but they've been pretty good at it so far. They really delivered, delivered everything they could to be called a scam.
It's been endorsed by a lot of people on youtube but, here's the catch: they all have referral codes in their description section.
And this is the worst part of these scams: the endorsement for a mere referral.
They are the fuel that feed the scammer's engine. They are, without any doubt, scammers themselves.
They make elusive titles (Scam or legit? Goldmine or Fraud?), they say it can be a scam but so far THEY made so MUCH money that it's hard to say no.
So please, let me introduce you to a couple of them, feel free to go on their youtube and call them out, dislike their videos, comment and help new users understand how these scammers work.
Here are some of the endorsers. Please feel free to add other names in the comment section:
Crypto Robert: a medium size one, trying hard to fund his hair transplant. Some more scammy site referral and you can do it! (he just removed the referral code, after being called out by me and other 100 people)

Crypto Steve: a small one but still sporting a shiny referral code on this video

Thank you very much for the video, i love it very much.

That video is sponsoring a SCAM, just to be clear. And that's not my property
