I think that traditional investors and business people need to be convinced of the power and potential of the blockchain. Here in the UK, it's still regarded with a great deal of suspicion, mainly thanks to the mainstream media, and of course, the UK is one of the worlds major business and financial centres.
Part of what we are doing at the moment is taking this message to investors directly...bypassing the bullshit, and letting them see what is going on. This is why for me it's so important to build the promo-steem model so powerfully, because it we can make it work, then everyone can see what the blockchain can do in terms of raising living standards AND making a profit for investors.
We need to change the way the people with money think, get them out of the old paradigm of doing business in a centralised way. It's quite hard for them to think about anything other than ownership, and that's not the decentralised way of doing things. But what we are seeing growing up around the blockchain (and especially the STEEM blockchain) is a different way of thinking and making things happen. It's really exciting!
