Stacked and forgotten, accomplished

in investorsclub •  6 years ago

I made a post about two weeks ago in which I was telling how I love to find forgotten money in clothes I haven't wear for months, in the car and other places. It is a thing that I developed since childhood when I used to find lost savings and it's still my thing. Plus, now I get to do that with cryptocurrencies blending also the idea with some investing strategy that I've heard on youtube when I started gathering knowledge about cryptos and investing in them with minimum risks.

The idea that I am talking about is to buy some cryptos of a value that you really don't care about, stack them on a wallet and forget about them for a few years, but of course don't forget the password from the wallet. This is one of the best ideas of investing with minimum financial risks, that I've heard, but with some good profit returns possibilities from coins being valued at 10x or even more than they were valued when you actually both them. So, I did it. In simple words: buy them, stack them, forget about them for a few years, take them out and sell them.

I was telling in the above mentioned post that I've chosen my stacked coins to be Dogecoin so I've been buying Dogecoin for two weeks. Bought about 20,000 of them, with Steem earned on Steemit, sent them to a wallet and left them to age for a few years, just like old wine. Now, the question that might rose from some of you would be why Dogecoin and not Steem?

Simple. I wanted to have those coins in some wallet that I don't access daily so I can forget about them for some years, as this the idea of the project and not to be tempted of exchanging them. Why Dogecoin and not other? Well, Jaxx doesn't hold too many coins, Dogecoin is one of my favorite that is supported by Jaxx, it's cheap, it has a good community and very fast transfer speeds and it doesn't seem to suffer too much during crashes either. I almost forgot...Dogecoin goes to the moon according to its community, so, yeah...it's the Doge the one to put a smile on my face years from now.

Now, how much will these 20,000 coins that now are worth about $48 be worth in three or five years from now, it's impossible to predict. It could be worth three cents or a few thousands dollars, who knows. I will find that when I will remember about them and put them on the market. Until then I have my finger crossed for the other ones that I have some profit expectations for this year to fulfill, but until now they had just dips and more dips and more dips so they will probably age as much as the Doge until they become profitable to sell. Hopefully sooner. I am keeping my faith. It's the only thing I got in this wild west called the crypto world.

Thanks for your attention,
Ace

I found 500Skr in the wood another time 100skr on the street! Another time a lotteryticket with 50kr! 500kr is about 50euro or about 50US dollars! Ain´t that lucky!

500 kroner in wood is something. I know how worthy Skr are because I've been to Gothenburg, Sweden last year for a weekend. I have a friend who lives there for fifteen years. I haven't found any money though. Curious how much will be worth my stacked Dogecoin in a few years.
