I just had my 60th birthday. I came, in 1972, at age 14, alone to Israel. I have had a varied and interesting life. I grew up in a kibbutz, but later on, moved to a "settlement" in Judea, south of Jerusalem. I married and brought up 4 boys there where I stayed for 30 years. Many of the things you hear about in the news - I went through and saw first hand. Politically, I don't see myself as "extreme"- but I have and am willing to fight for what I believe is right.
I was one of the Internet pioneers in Israel, running a big project in 1993-5 called "Jerusalem One" and was one of the big influences in making Internet pubic in Israel, before I was washed away by the young generation (2 of my boys are fantastic programmers) who took it and went to heights even I could never envision.
I am currently organizing a tour of USA for talks together with a well-known Palestinian activist and friend of mine who is trying to bring his people away from the cult of violence, and to real peace and prosperity.
I will mostly be talking about politics here, though any of you may contact me on anything you would like.
