MIXED TECHNIQUE

Hi dear friends!
Today I want to talk about mixed technique, where almost everything is allowed!
The mixed technique is beautiful because it is so vast, but they are the same some little rules to respect.
For example, don't get the idea of mixing an oil color tube with an acrylic color tube. You can make an acrylic primer and paint on it with oil when the acrylic is dry, to do the opposite is less advisable because it adheres badly.
We can mix chalks with watercolours, pen and pastels, for example, creating very interesting effects.
Here too, we must first use pen or watercolours, and then pastels and chalks.
Or mix the ink with tempera, or charcoal with sanguigne.... In short, we can really have fun.
We also have the possibility to use other means of painting, such as coffee, salt, sugar, rust, etc... as they did before using chemical products, for dye fabrics.

LA TECNICA MISTA

Oggi voglio parlarvi della tecnica mista, dov' è permesso quasi tutto!
La tecnica mista è bella proprio perchè è così vasta, ma anche qui qualche regola da rispettare c' è.
Per esempio non fatevi venire l' idea di mescolare un tubo di colore ad olio ad un tubo di colore acrilico. Potete fare un fondo di acrilico e dipingerci sopra con l’olio quando l'acrilico sarà asciutto, il contrario è meno consigliabile perchè aderisce male.
Possiamo mischiare per esempio i gessetti con gli acquarelli, penarelli e pastelli, creando degli effetti molto interessanti.
Anche qui dobbiamo utilizzare prima i penarelli o gli acquarelli, dopo i pastelli e i gessetti.
Oppure mescolare la china con la tempera, o il carboncino con la sanguigna…. Insomma possiamo davvero sbizzarirci.
Oltretutto abbiamo anche la possibilità di utilizzare altri mezzi per dipingere, come il caffé, il sale, lo zucchero, la ruggine, ecc.. come facevano ai tempi per tingere i tessuti.
