AVIS... nel sangue! // AVIS in the blood! [ITA - ENG]

Come sapete, in questa fase vi sto raccontando delle cose che mi permettano di farmi conoscere meglio ma in questo caso vi parlo di qualcosa che mi riguarda personalmente, questo si, ma che spero capiate che ci riguarda tutti… la donazione di sangue!

Io, come dico nel titolo l’AVIS ce l’ho nel sangue e infatti sono donatore da circa 6 anni… e voi direte a come? solo 6? Eh si, ma ovviamente avrei voluto esserlo da molto prima… il fatto è questo: ho conosciuto per la prima volta questa associazione ai tempi della scuola superiore. Venne la classica unità mobile per spiegare di cosa si trattasse e, se avessimo voluto, avremmo potuto fare la nostra prima donazione.

Io ero molto entusiasta di questa cosa e non vedevo l’ora di fare il mio “battesimo” con l’AVIS… peccato che mi fu detto che non avrei potuto donare per diverse ragioni. Devo dire che ci rimasi male perchè non me l’aspettavo proprio ma ovviamente servono determinati requisiti per poter donare il proprio sangue e così, anche se dispiaciuto, dovetti accettare che non c’era nulla da fare… al punto che mi rassegnai all’idea di non pensarci proprio più.

Diversi anni dopo, però, forse per caso o forse per destino, fu l’AVIS a trovare me! Attraverso amici comuni conobbi questa associazione ed in particolare un ragazzo (uno che qui si fa chiamare pikkio82 conoscete? ;) grazie Anto!!!) al quale chiesi praticamente subito di farmi fare i controlli necessari per verificare se mi fosse stato possibile donare il sangue e, fortunatamente, questa volta andò bene e da allora non ho smesso di fare il mio dovere!!!

Vi racconto questa storia perché vorrei sensibilizzare la gente su questo tema che è davvero di grande importanza. Donare non è un impegno gravoso, donare il sangue è letteralmente donare vita… a che prezzo? Beh, bisogna stare comodamente in poltrona e lasciarsi fare una puntura dai professionisti e poi ti viene offerta la colazione accompagnata dalla simpatia dei volontari che si prendono cura di te! Non male no? Ovviamente non per forza si deve donare il sangue in tutte le sue componenti né tantomeno si deve firmare un contratto per cui se lo fai una volta lo devi fare a vita… non è un patto di sangue (pessima battuta lo riconosco!)… anche se umanamente, in questo senso si, ti lega per la vita!

Ci sono diverse modalità di donazione e anche tempistiche diverse tra uomo e donna ma questi sono tecnicismi che lascio agli esperti, il punto è che una donazione può fare la differenza, specie se sei di un gruppo sanguigno raro, e quindi meno facilmente reperibile.

In conclusione io penso che se si può fare un gesto così semplice ma così speciale da avere un effetto tanto grande da salvare vite umane la domanda più ovvia è… perché no? Non trovate anche voi?

Bene, questa era la mia riflessione del giorno e avevo voglia di condividerla con voi con la speranza, lo dico apertamente, di stimolare chi tra voi ancora non lo abbia fatto a fare questo dono speciale! Vabbè, per oggi ho concluso e, come sempre, vi abbraccio tutti!

As you know, at this stage I'm telling you about things that allow me to get to know better but in this case I'm talking about something that concerns me personally, yes, but I hope you understand that it affects us all... blood donation!

I, as I say in the title the AVIS I have it in the blood and in fact I have been a donor for about 6 years... and you will tell how? only 6? Oh yes, but of course I wanted to be long before... the fact is this: I met for the first time this association at the time of high school. The classic mobile unit came to explain what it was and, if we wanted, we could have made our first donation.

I was very enthusiastic about this and I could not wait to do my "baptism" with the AVIS... unfortunate that I was told that I could not give for different reasons. I must say that I was sick because I did not expect it but obviously need certain requirements to be able to donate their blood and so, even if sorry, I had to accept that there was nothing to do... to the point that I reviewed the idea not to think about it anymore.

Several years later, however, perhaps by chance or perhaps by destiny, it was AVIS who found me! Through common friends I met this association and in particular a boy (one who here calls pikkio82 do you know?) Thanks Anto !!!) to whom I asked almost immediately to make me do the necessary checks to check if I could be donated blood and, fortunately, this time it went well and since then I have not stopped doing my duty!!!

I will tell you this story because I would like to make people aware of this issue which is really of great importance. Donating is not a hard task, giving blood is literally giving life... at what price? Well, you have to sit comfortably in a chair and be punctuated by professionals and then you are offered breakfast accompanied by the sympathy of the volunteers who take care of you! Not bad, right? Obviously not necessarily you have to donate blood in all its components, nor should you sign a contract so if you do it once you have to do it for life... it's not a blood pact (bad beat I recognize it!)... even if humanly, in this sense yes, binds you to life!

There are different ways of donation and even different times between men and women but these are technicalities that I leave to the experts, the point is that a donation can make the difference, especially if you are of a rare blood group, and therefore less easily available.

In conclusion I think that if you can make such a simple but so special gesture that it has such a big effect to save lives, the obvious question is... why not? Do not you find it too?

Well, this was my reflection of the day and I wanted to share it with you with hope, I say it openly, to stimulate those of you who have not yet done so to make this special gift! Oh well, for today I have concluded and, as always, I embrace you all!
