Risotto al Vino Rosso
Non è difficile, bisogna avere solo un po' di pazienza...

This evening for dinner I made a tasty
Red Wine Rice
It's not a difficult recipe but you have to be patient...
Ingredienti per 2 persone:
-1 spicchio d'aglio -1 Cipolla -1/2 litro di brodo di pollo o vegetale -100 gr di Burro -200 gr di Riso -1/2 litro di Vino rosso (secco)Tagliare finemente aglio e cipolla.
Preparare a parte il brodo di pollo o chi preferisce, il brodo vegetale. Portarlo ad ebollizione e mantenerlo caldo (a fuoco lento).
Soffriggere in padella burro, aglio e cipolla.
Ingredients for 2 people:
-a clove of garlic -an onion -1/2 l. of chicken or vegetable stock -100gr of butter -200gr of rice -1/2 l. of Red Wine (dry)Finely chop the garlic and the onion. Apart from this, prepare the chicken or the vegetable stock. Bring it to the boil and keep it hot (over low heat).
Brown the butter with garlic and onion in the pan.
Add a little wine, reduce the temperature and let it absorb.
Blend it frequently to avoid the rice stuck.
When the rice absorbed the wine, add part of the stock you had prepared before.
Let dry and then add the wine again.
Go on blending.
When the wine is absorbed, add the remaining stock.
Se volete renderlo più cremoso aggiungete qualche pezzo di burro e a fine cottura aggiungere del formaggio grana. Mescolare finché non sia tutto ben amalgamato.
If you want the rice more creamy you can add some butter.
At the end of cooking add Grana cheese.
keep stirring until everything is well blended.
