Researchers from the independent rating agencies ICORating published the results of a market analysis of primary offering amount of cryptocoins.
Statistical calculations prove that the ICO remains popular among investors, as well as an effective way to attract financing.
According to the agency, since the beginning of the year, investors have invested $ 11 billion in various ICOs, which is ten times more than in the same period last year.
In the second quarter of this year, 827 projects were able to provide themselves with funding for 8 billion dollars compared to 3.3 billion dollars, which were received during the ICO for the first three months of this year.
Thus, the ICO showed a quarterly growth of attracted investments by 151%.
According ICORating Europe became the leader in number of made ICO: in the Old world started 46% of all projects.
North America (USA and Canada) became the most generous in terms of attracted funds: 64.67% of all investors ' money that came to the global ICO market came to projects that were launched in this region.
Asian countries showed a mixed dynamics: the number of ICO conducted here decreased by 40%, but the volume of attracted funds increased by 20%.
