Was fired for putting away shopping carts a few times as a Salvation Army Bell Ringer. People reported me and got me fired. I only left my kettle for a few seconds a few times. I was also trying to jingle a tune with my bell a few times. But I guess they didn't like it. Same thing happened in 2007 as well. People were saying that I totally left my kettle for an hour or long periods of time as some do. But I didn't.

Lord of the Rings Risk

For Christmas, I was with my friends in Vancouver, WA. We made some videos and played video games. On top of that, we were also playing Lord of the Rings Risk.

I was fired as a Salvation Army bell ringer. Some people called The Salvation Army's local church in that area, the Tualatin Valley Corps (TVC) in Hillsboro, OR, to complain about me. I helped put away a few shopping carts at the Albertson's store near the airport in Hillsboro. Around five times out of the month of December of 2011, I went off script to put away carts. I would walk three steps over to push the carts a few feet. I would ring a tune a few times. I was trying to entertain like some people do and some didn't like it and got me fired for it. Same thing happened in 2007 in Hawaii. I was a bell ringer in 2007, 2010, and 2011.

Inaccurate Rumors

Some people overheard what happened and started spreading that rumor to others that I literally ran off. Because I said I left my kettle to put away a few carts a few times. What I didn't say was that I was gone for literally five seconds or less. Literally five actual seconds. But the rumor was that I would run off like some bell ringers do. Some people are jerks and leave and they do not ring the bell the whole time. I have been to stores where there is no bell ringer. I was a good bell ringer compared to that and yet was fired for being a little too silly a few times.
