Hey, folks!
Just passing by to share with you a great Festival I've been to: Japan Festival in São Paulo! It happened in July, 20th, 21st and 22nd.
Besides all my connection to Japan, the festival was great not only because I had the company of my BFF, but because this year we are commemorating 110 years of Japanese immigration to Brazil! In addition, they were trying to get a Guinness World Record by presenting 500 types of typical Japanese foods! Wanna check it out? Watch the video:
This year it was very much organized, with taiko and Odori presentations on the main stage, several stores and companies displaying their products (of course, I spent more than I should've), and the food court was a spectacule one: stands of every province with the best food they have to offer!

A "Tora" to welcome the guests:
Check out this wooden tsuru right by the entrance:
A curtain of marvelous red "tsuru" origami, this bird is a sign of good omen to Japanese people, adorning kimonos, fans, walls and so on. Also, it is said that if you fold 1,000 of this origami you are awarded a wish!
Replicas of traditional Japanese gardens:
Shodo (Japanese calligraphy) workshops:
Foods! Foods! Foods!
Me and my friends enjoyed all the souvenirs and even made this set of plush sushi pictures!
Lovely post and movie!! ;)
