The Hunter

Spotted this crane hunting while walking in Tokyo. This is in the heart of the city among houses so I thought it was a bit odd this bird would be so close to humans.

Since spring has arrived I've seen several cranes along the lager river banks in Tokyo. The bugs buzzing about must be a ncie buffet for all the birds. The bugs.... the one thing I don't like about Japan. They are oversized and everywhere!
