Hey there!
And here is the last tutorial for kanji today. I am almost done with the counting kanji and next would be the elements!
Kanji for number 9
- To start, draw a vertical line starting from top right to bottom left. It's the first stroke.
- Second, draw number 7-like figure starting from the left side to the right drawing a horizontal line and then shift downwards to the bottom and then curve it a little at the end. It's the last stroke. I'm pretty bad at curves so I hope it turned out well.
Onyomi: Kyuu / Ku
Kunyom: Kokono
**TRIVIA: ** You can see the shape of a 9 with a little imagination, as shown in the figure below.
Kanji for number 10
- Firstly, start the drawing a horizontal line across the paper. It's the first stroke of the kanji.
- Lastly, draw a vertical line splitting the horizontal line in half. The kanji for number 10 is a cross figure.
Onyomi: Juu / Ji
Kunyom: Too
TRIVIA: 10 can be written as the Roman Numeral X as seen in the figure below.
At last, I'm finally done with numbers 1 to 10. This is also the last numeric kanji with two strokes.
See you next,
tina
