JAVA is object oriented programming language and platform independent. Java is somehow same as c++ but there is lot of modification in java which makes him different from other languages. Java is platform independent means java virtual machine(jvm) which make java program file as byte code which can be run on any platform. Means byte code file run on any operating system with change in file.
