Imitate Jesus with humility: Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1

The Apostle Paul founded the Corinthian church during his second missionary journey, and he was there for over a year, teaching the gospel to the God-fearing people. But after leaving this city, various disorders occurred in the community, for which Paul addressed to this community a letter called the first epistle to the Corinthians.
And in this epistle, Paul highlighted one of the most important teachings of the Kingdom of God, the empire or dominion of the divine excellencies, by the sacrament of baptism we have to imitate our Lord Jesus with humility: "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ," 1 Corinthians 11:1.
To imitate Jesus is to always act according to ethical principles, and more precisely to act according to the Golden Rule: "Do to others what you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12.
We learn by the teaching, but the example is fundamental, the apostle Paul with all his actions made it clear to us, and especially to the first christians, what the spiritual gift of imitation means, Paul became the last of all to be the first, as Jesus taught: "For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted" Luke 14:11.
In a world dominated by sin, life in the grace of God is a challenge, life in the grace of God, the righteous life, is not simply not sinning (silver rule), life in the grace of God is a commitment to change things for the better: "Be merciful just as your Father is merciful" Luke 6:36, "Be holy, because I am holy" 1 Peter 1:16.
If our only concern is ourselves, that is, our happiness, we will never enter this Kingdom of blessing. The Kingdom of God is first of all, as Jesus always did, in subordinating our decisions to the wisdom of God: "Wisdom and money can get you almost anything, but only wisdom can save your life" Ecclesiastes 7:12.
