Why are the beatitudes of Jesus Christ so important in our life? Meaning and explanation.

Beatitude means happy, joyful path. The best-known beatitudes are fundamentally expressed in the sermon of the mount in the gospels of Matthew 5:3-12, and Luke 6:20-26. There are other beatitudes in the bible as those taught by the apostle Paul in Romans 4: 7-8: "Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them".
The beatitudes of the Sermon on the Mount are in practical terms the logical aspect of God, the normalizing principle of the universe. This is so because the beatitudes distribute prizes (Matthew 5:3-12; Luke 6:20-23) and punishments (Luke 6:24-26)

"Two mentalities (edifying or chaotic), two paths (righteousness or sin) and two retributions (blessings or curses)" this is the central concept of the beatitudes. Blessings for those who follow the path of truth ("But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light", John 3:21) and curses for those who choose heresy (teaching of the error). Truth has two characteristics: precision and accuracy.
The beatitudes constitute, describes the blessed life, for each spiritual gift there is a beatitude and the related award. In practice, the blessed life is to live the spiritual gifts, that is to say, to seek the correct and the best, the correct for the gift of advice (John 8:7) and the best for piety. According to this scheme, the blessed life has no relation to the ten commandments nor the practice of moral virtue. The law of Moses is impossible to comply ("For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse", Galatians 3:10); and, the practice of justice and prudence is heresy because not all justice or prudence is good ("I am the way, the truth and the life", John 14:6). The beatitudes, as a spiritual gift and divine quality, are the highest expression of the kingdom of God.
