Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and anchored in Your Truth! Thank You for your Great Love and Mercy, thank You that You Wait For Us, and You Strengthen Us. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your Presence and Light.
- There Is One...
In this world there is one thing that is a guarantee. People are going to disappoint you. Friends will let you down, no matter how close you think you are to them, family will turn away, even when you think your family never would, and many will not follow through when they say they will do something. You are going to hear the words, "you can count on me" and "I promise I will never leave you," but almost without fail, they will do just that. Your significant other, friends, family, associates, and co-workers most certainly mean well and intend to keep their promises, but human failure is not something new. It began in the Garden of Eden and it still remains today.
As we grow up, we get disappointed by people, then upset, then a little depressed, then mad. This cycle continues until we learn the lesson that we are a fallen species and there is only One to depend on. Now, it is possible for someone to never disappoint you, but definitely not probable. Some of us do have those in our lives that are completely dependable and trustworthy, but it is prudent to know, even they may disappoint you. Be prepared for this, because before this life is over undoubtedly someone you thought would never disappoint you, will.
In a world full of disappointments, as believers, we have an unmatchable gift in Our God and Savior. Once we come to The Faith, we finally find One Who Will Never Disappoint and Will Never Leave Us. We have a Tower of Strength, A Rock, A Strong Foundation, and A Mighty Warrior In God Our Father and Our LORD and Savior Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ The King.
Are you having a tough time? Going through relationship problems? Maybe you have been disappointed by someone close to you, or maybe you have even disappointed yourself? Whatever the disappointment may be, know this: Yeshua, Jesus Christ Will Never Fail You. You might think He has and you may think He isn't there when you need him, but that is just us as humans not "seeing the big picture." If you are going through a tough time, if you have been dissatisfied by a friend, family member, spouse, or another, just remember, we are all imperfect humans. We have all made mistakes and fall short of the Glory of God. If we think back throughout our lives, most definitely we will find a time when we have severely disappointed someone and this should help all of us forgive others. Forgiving heals us, cleanses us, frees up "the weight of the world" on us, and helps us move forward in a fallen world.
If you are having a tough time, whatever the reason may be, take heart in knowing no matter how you feel or see things at the moment... Our Father and Savior Are Doing Something Amazing. This quote has shown up in more than one place and has shown up repeatedly over the last few weeks and it is 100% True. "When you are down to nothing, God Is Up To Something." Hold on to that because this thought, belief, or faith literally has the power to "lift you out of the pit." No matter how bad things seem at the moment we can all rest assure that God Is Faithful even when people are not. When it seems that no one understands, no one keeps their word, no one follows through, and no one is completely trustworthy, remember... There Is One. Seek Him Today And Be Renewed!
