In the Catholic tradition, the Way of the Cross (via crucis) is a private or community devotional act. While commemorating Christ's Passion by evoking fourteen particular moments of it (some from tradition and not reported in the biblical writings), the faithful wish to receive the grace to share intensely in the sufferings of Christ, the Savior of men.
Every friday people make this celebration and to remember how our Jesus suffered.
This friday was the first Way of the cross.
