BJJ Training Journal - 6/28/21 - Short and Tough Workout

I only had one hour to workout today.

I started at the heavy bag and started fast and hard. I normally don't like to do this to prevent injury but the time was short.

After that short and tough bag session I went to the steel pole. I threw combinations at full power and full speed for one round on the pole.

I love doing this and hearing the sound of the steel pole ringing with each blow. I could hear it even over the music blasting in my ear buds. I did this for one round and then went right to the weights for my upper body workout.

Today was a short but intense workout. Like I said I normally don't like to go at this pace right off the bat because of the chance for injury.
